Celia Cortes, is a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), Licensed Private Investigator (LPI), and an Interviewer & Interrogation instructor. She has an extensive background in corporate security, interview and interrogation, investigations, security design and personal safety. Celia is adept at planning, strategizing, and executing security and surveillance operations, with a considerable background in teaching, coaching and training of public and private sector personnel. Her experience ranges from international financial institutions and Fortune 50 corporations to educational institutions.

Celia’s career began in financial crimes investigations. After nine years of investigating financial crimes and partnering with local, state and federal law enforcement, she continued her career as an Organized Retail Crime investigator with a Fortune 50 corporation. Celia left the corporate world to pursue her passion of ensuring educators and students were safe in their learning environments, and became the Director of Security at a boarding school in Atlanta. In 2015, Celia opened her own Security Consulting firm with the goal of assisting institutions and individuals in implementing safety and security protocols that increase security, safety and awareness.

Celia holds a degree in Criminal Justice and is currently seeking a second degree in Psychology.
